Relationship with other organisation

Members of the institute are spread over many public and private organisations. Examples are the Federal and State Ministries, Higher Institution, Manufacturing Sectors, Standard Organisation of Nigeria (SON), National Agency for Food and Drugs Administration and control (NAFDAC), Raw Material Research and Development Council (RMRDC), Federal Institute of Industrial Research (FIIRO) etc. 

 

The Institute has a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with SON and the Defunct Federal Environment Protection Agency (FEPA) now of the federal Ministry of Environmental. The institute is presently putting finishing touches to the working arrangement (MoU) with NAFDAC.

 

Also, the Institute is a member of the Association of Professional Bodies of Nigeria (APBN).
